Make Up Monday- Eye Liner

What was your day like today?...

Maybe one of these products could of helped with your day?

We all need to start somewhere with eye liners... we all have that one that reminds us of being young and trying something new.

The first eye liner I have to show is the They're real push up liner by benefit. The pen is built so the gel glides easily into place. Its a great product ... just needs about 20 steady hand goes at getting it right... then a poke in the eye and a accidental rub of the eye to ruin it.

This is the product I am trying to master and so far I managed a good flick on one eye.. I gave myself a smudged eye on the other side :(. The product I paid I believe £12 on a Thompson plane. You can purchse it from boots. I have never had benefit before but one of my sisters use it and I thought why not give benefit a try.

The next is my little handy go too.. the master precise maybleine new york liner. This was the product I used at secondary school and LOVE still as its easy use. Its like a pen it always provides good coverage and lasts long. You can purchase it from superdrug where you lucky students can get 10 percent off and some supermarkets too. I think if your a teen learning with this will help you and is easy too do when your in a rush. My last one without discount cost me £9 from superdrug.

What do use? Anything you want me to try?

Wild Wednesdays- Top Cheap nail varnish colours

 Hi my little soapies,

Todays little blog is a simple look at the product by colour. All these opinions are my own and at current I am not affilated with any of the companies mentioned... thats done so lets get to it.

In no particular order: Rimmel 60 seconds in a blue shade ... the shade colour has rubbed off.

This was from the rita ora collection and its a beautiful colour but as mentioned on my youtube channel Soapso I dont particularly love what the product is like but the pretty blue adds a little bit of happiness to your otherwise plain fingers.

Colour show by maybeline in the shade "latte" -nothing like a latte colour this was purchased I believe in poundland. However the shade is coral like and perfect for those lovely little days out or weddings or maybe for a sneaky insta with a latte... its not a latte colour though haha.

Loreal paris in shade nouvelle vague- £3 asos

The MOSTTTTT gorgeous colour and the best nail varnish and I really love it in this autumn time it makes me feel all warm just by looking at it and its perfect at £3. I would personally say you should try this nail varnish range however I do not know the price and have not seen them anywhere else.

so whats your favs comment below... much love your soap xox

Make Up Monday- Make Up Brushes

Hey everyone, Welcome back to another one of my Make up Mondays :)

Today I thought why not talk about my wonderful and not so wonderful brushes I use... Ps its my birthday! I am 20!.. sadly no longer a teen.

So first is my Real Technique brushes by Sam and Nic chapman

Sisters of Jim chapman (youtuber and husband to the gorgeous Tanya Burr)  these girls have come sooo far from just being youtubers. I feel these brushes are by far the best. Easy to handle and they glide easy.

The bristles are all high quality and my first brush I bought of theirs sadly died a few weeks back after 2 years of using it everyday... They are that good!!

I think these brushes are worth the money and with many ranges why not ask for maybe one or two for Christmas ;)
Definetely a 10/10 and a product I would recommend. ALSO check out their website for some handy make up tips with each brush that's in their collection!

2. Brushes from Sheinside

After 2 very bad orders from sheinside I refuse to shop their again however from one of my successful orders I got these gorgeous white coloured make up brushes. They came in a bag which made them sadly look childish so I binned that haha.

The product looks professional and looks pretty however bristles do fall off and the texture of the brushes can be irritating sometimes.

Soooo for me I am giving this a cool and just past the idk if I should of bought it mark of 5/10

number 3. Lottie Brushes

There was a lot of publicity on these brushes so I thought I would buy them just to see what they were like and straight away loved them.
The colours are super cool and give the brush a little bit of a makeover. Fun and poppy it adds a difference to anyone who wants a difference in their old boring makeup bag.

I purchased mine in Superdrug which I would like to say sometimes do offers and for students you can get 10 percent off! result!

My personal fav is the eyeshadow brush - think it may be the fact it actually is soft on my eyes.

I love them as much as my real techniques brushes so I had to give them a 10/10

Please keep making those brushes lottie!

So that's my little brush blog. I do also use a sponge from beauty outlet for my foundation however its not as good coverage for my foundation as my brushes does.

love you all millions,

Wild Wednesdays- Real Techniques Berlin collection

Hello,

A early birthday present was given to me yesterday by @DBGinked the real techniques Berlin collection............... I love real techniques they are amazing and highly recommend them.

This collection is limited edition. The box is stylish and shows clearly the brushes. Turn to the reverse and it gives a good description of the brush and the way you can use them (watch their vids online for any help). Included in this beautiful collection is These brushes : buffing, contour, Stippling, deluxe crease and base shadow.

The detail does not end there, each brush has this gorgeous design that looks artistic and very striking. the base of every brush is soft with the RT logo placed on it. As for the brush itself it glides effortlessly along your skin.

Well worth a look or maybe a cheeky buy.. So on your wild Wednesday why not maybe check these out

lots of love soap xoxox

make up mondays- foundation

HI !

We all have THAT foundation that is our go too.Today I'm sharing the two foundations I am/ was wearing and will give you my honest opinions.

1. wake me up foundation by Rimmel London

This product is my go too. Its fresh and does exactly what its called. I feel that there is not enough publicity about this product. It covers your face in such a way it isn't easily noticeable you have foundation on.

The bottle is a handy size however I feel its a heavy product and if your travelling light it wouldn't be easy to fit in. Also be careful on your colour choice... I'm as pale as a vampire so I need the lightest colour to match my complexion.

Overall I give this product a 10/10

the only downside is the bottles heavy and bulky state. You can purchase this occasionally in supermarkets for 6-9 pounds on offer so give a try xx

2. True Match by loreal paris

I have never ever ever ever tried loreal paris make up before so buying this was literally on a whim.If I'm honest I think the bottle looks more fashionable. The product itself is not for me though as the colour makes me more pale maybe I should of picked a darker shade and the colour is a bit wishy washy and not as easy to apply. This is handy though when I don't have rimmel at hand.

This product is around the ten pound mark and I know this sounds weird.. okay it is weird but it smells really nice.

overall 9/10 for this product just think the colours are a little off for skin types

So theres my make up tips for today... whats your favs?

zooooooooooooooooo trip with DBG INKED

Bristol zoo trip-

zoo trips are expensive however at bristol zoo we found a deal that is perfect. If you pay £15 for each person on the 8 and 9 bus in bristol you get free entry to the zoo plus a return ticket which works out alot cheaper.

The zoo itself is a great zoo to be at. It has a vast history with many animals you would normally see in this county. The zoo is pretty big and is a nice day out. I would bring your own food as food is expensive there. The animals are all in suitable enclosures and are well looked after.

Recommend you take a camera !

I will not say anymore do not want to spoil your day out.

Below is some of the pics DBG INKED took on my camera.

Bristol eating -Pros and cons

So I have been away with DBG INKED and we went not that far but to bristol which was really nice. So I thought I would do a pro and con little blog.

MARCOS OLIVE BRANCH-

MY MOST FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD. IT IS OFFICIAL!-thats the best way to put it. we were thinking should we go in and I am glad we did. this italian restaurant and bar is by far the most cute and lovely place to eat. Sitiuted by temple meads ( about a 5 minute walk from it) this was a perfect resting place after a busy day of walking and shopping.

The building is well presented and is amazing to enter. Its like a step back in time with gorgeous interior and friendly staff there was no faults. I mean look at the size of my pizza how could I complain. I honestly will tell everyone to go there. It is the best!!

Ps. Try apricot juice its way better than the peach juice- DBG INKED disagrees with me still.

The other place we ate was Gourmet Burger Kitchen-

A really cool take on american style diners. Nice staff and nice seating. The burgers were delicious however DBG INKED did not like the price. He got the special burger which implied it was a big meal however he found it to be small for the money and I am going to be honest it was not as filling as my pizza at marcos.

If you prefer a treat though this is still nice but overall I would go back to marcos again. I hope this blog was okay and please comment. see you in another blog on the zoooooooooooo!

cheers,

Naked 2 urban decay BASICS palette

Hi soapies,

So I have been treated very well by DBG INKED to this gorgeous palette.Always been a fan of the urban decay palettes but never thought I would have one!
It was purchased from debenhams in Bristol and is a stunning make up piece to own. I like this palette because it is small and the best little colours you need for a minimilist day at work or a bold night out either way for £21 this make up will outshine your friends or rivals cosmetics.

The make up itself is easy to put on however you will need to purchase a little brush. This will fit nicely in any bag and honestly I reccommend it.

Bullying| the big topics

okay so once a month I am going to do a big topic and todays is something very close to me that I have not spoken to anyone about at all really. Bullying.

All my life I have been judged and edited and most importantly bullied as I am sure we can all relate too. I am going to tell you the feelings you will feel and how to work around them as well as the actions you must take.

1. Ashamed- This was the number one thing for me. I felt like because of my age I could not be bullied and should not be. I felt stupid if I said anything. I bottled it up. If i could go back I would of told someone.I would of written it down but sometimes its too hard to confess to something that makes you feel so little.

2. scared- You feel scared to be around the person or people who do it. You feel scared to tell anyone because of the abuse you feel afterwards. Its okay though do what is best for you. Do not listen to others make yourself happy.

3. move on- As simple as it sounds its not easy and its pretty darn scary to do so but moving on from what happened no matter the time will be the ultimate thing to do.Write the things that hurt you the most and in the future you can see what helped you through it all.

4. use your voice- You have a voice and try and use it. tell them what you think. Tell someone whats happening. your never alone. It feels like it and it makes you feel alone but its the best thing to do and will honestly make you feel so much better.

5. strength- Use your inner strength to get through it. Think its okay you will be fine there could be worse things. You are not alone.

If you can take yourself out of the situation. Although I felt I should not of needed to do this .. I quit my job because of it and I loved it. However I did not want the constent thoughts of sadness and like I had a wasted life. I did not and nor do you. If you or anyone else is affected by bullying let them know people can help and most importantly do not fear the bully because thats what they want.

I know I can not really help but these are my views. I love you all so much,
stay safe ,

First car help | soapso

Hi,
So you may of passed your theory or passed your driving test or doing the good old look for help thing. Here is another one of my 5 tips but this time its for your first car. You may be lucky enough to have your parents buy your car but heres some tips and help from a driver of a year and a half... I know its not long ago I passed although it feels like forever and since then I have done at least 10,000 miles between my old car and my beautiful new car.

1. Cheap is not always brilliant- As anything if you buy cheap you can get cheap. Often enough you see a car that is a grand and think wow not that bad... you need to take these things into concideration.
age- The car can have age wear and tear which could cost you more than you expected.
insurance- if its a popular car it may be a high price on insurances.
safety- Check whether its had any upgrades.. I mean think does a ford have truck tyres when you first buy it or are the windows meant to be that dark.
has it been stolen?- you can make checks online and yes it costs a bit but if your serious its better to check then buy a stolen or written off car . I assure you it is.

2. where is it from?- Whether its a garage or someone selling it from home it can have faults. I bought my first car from a man who didnt need the car anymore and he seemed genuine enough however do not trust every single person... not everyone has a good heart. If you feel theres something not right do not even think of purchasing. When I was looking for my second car I looked at a car which looked decent  but it did not feel right the whole scenario like the man had left it in a pub car park and kept phoning to make sure we would be dead on 5:30 when it was only 4 on the third time of asking and when we got there no one was there and the car looked edited. Think I got lucky by walking away. My second car came from a garage and yes it cost alot more than probably someone at their house but it was secure and felt nice to do.

3. Insurance- Check the insurance before purchase and check once bought. Buy the car and insure it.

HINT: DO NOT GET A BLACK BOX
It does not help with your overall spending and is a con! I ended up spending 1,500 because they took my estimated 5,000 miles as a mark and said for every 1,000 miles I went over I had to spend £75. plus one time when I was in iceland they claimed I drove badly yet Noone had used my car so I feel its a scam. Its better not to have one. Also they charge £170 to remove a black box from a car.

When going for insurance companys go for a well known and easy to contact company. This year I am with LV who are fantastic and I highly recommend them!

4. you- Make sure you have enough money for the car, repairs and any other bits. Also the tax - My second car because its stop start its thirty pounds tax !! also I have heard if you buy a newer car your insurance is cheaper so look around.

5. Dont go with trends- Do not just go with the trend of a fiat 500 or a cute girly car or a boy racer car. Find something different and nice for you. My first car called olly named after the years and years front man was fantastic and the best little car. He was 13 years old and had 2 owners from new who had looked after him so so so well and that car sadly I parted with but for me a 1000 cc car is perfect for a first time driver costing £40.00 max to fill up. Plus its a little engine so insurance will like it more.

overall you learn as you drive but heres a few tips for more just comment.

love you all,

tuesday talks-- blog advice!

thought this may help a few of you lot at home who are worried or not sure whether you are doing it all right in terms of blogging.. well for a fact there is no way of doing it wrong. Heres 5 tips on blogging.

1. passion- In order to get views and feel happy with your blogs you must have a passion for each one and spend some TIME on each one. Talk about the stuff you love and hate and make it sound like you do not a really boring paragraph which makes us all just think I wasted 2 minutes of my life.

2.Time- Spend time on each one. PLAN what your gonna write about and think is it write to blog about that. Ask for friends advice if your not sure. I give myself 15 minutes per blog to type it up and 5 minutes to take pictures of things.

3. Plan- plan in adavnce and do a scheduled blog it  means you can do something on a day without forgetting or panicking of what to blog- we all get a writers block sometimes.

4. Audience- Get to know your audience by offering them advice and they will often help you back.

and finally 5. Social media- Use twitter to suggest to people that you have a blog and they could take a look it will help you build more of an AUDIENCE and help you learn whats good posts and bad posts.

soooo I hope this helps,

Mirrors

Mirrors are great at increasing light. They are also great when you need to look fab when going out.

I have 3 mirrors in my home. All are upstairs so now I am thinking of it it may make me look vain lol. The first is on the landing and is a beautiful mirror. looks old but is a debenhams mirror I bought from a friend for eight pounds?!? It adds character and looks very beautiful all on its own.

My second one is on my wardrobe. The wardrobe I bought was from a company on ebay who deliver and set it up and this mirror is perfect to check your whole body in :)

The last but not least is my tiny heart bathroom irror from wilkinsons for £10 its a little feature in my tiny-ish bathroom and is brilliant for when you want to quickly check your face out.

Overall all these mirrors make my room look bigger and brighter and even having one would help.

How to brighten rooms

Hi ya,
So when your brightening a room you assume paint. nop you do not need to do thta although soft pastel blues and whites do help.

My few tips are windows, clean them regularly and open the curtains (sounds simple yet its affective)

curtains- Buy bright curtains which give the room a nice vibe.

carpet- choose a lighter carpet it will look amazing and make the room look bigger.

furniture- Have a wardrobe and furniture with a certain style it will make it all look bigger and really will make you feel at home.

smell- spray a really nice fruity or flowery smell to make you feel more awake and love your room or house more.

These are just a few easy tips but honestly they go a long way.

food and little tips

sooooooo we all need food and when it comes too food it can become expensive.

I am gonna teach you hpow to save your litttle pennies.
1. Do not be fussy- yes that can of sweetcorn is reduced but its 9p and could be used tonight with chicken. Thats the way to look at things.Yes  some food I agree look bad but that at the end of the day is cheaper than that take away that cost alot of money.

2.plan- Plan your week out and figure out the days your actually at home and who with.In the long you will save and you can divide things such as tinned veg up and put in the fridge for tommorow.

3.BUY THE REDUCED ITEM- I was a tad annoyed the other day as a rude women said who buys reduced why do you want that? well miss rude women if you buy a cheap loaf of bread you can freeze it and its going to last longer in the long run.

4.Buy basics, smart price and value products- buy the supermarkets own products as it saves you money and there is no difference in taste often enough.

5. Discounts- Look online for discounts and look on topcashback if you order online. Over the year you will save loads so you can get that takeaway without a worry :p

lots of love and I hope this helps,
