Bullying| the big topics

okay so once a month I am going to do a big topic and todays is something very close to me that I have not spoken to anyone about at all really. Bullying.

All my life I have been judged and edited and most importantly bullied as I am sure we can all relate too. I am going to tell you the feelings you will feel and how to work around them as well as the actions you must take.

1. Ashamed- This was the number one thing for me. I felt like because of my age I could not be bullied and should not be. I felt stupid if I said anything. I bottled it up. If i could go back I would of told someone.I would of written it down but sometimes its too hard to confess to something that makes you feel so little.

2. scared- You feel scared to be around the person or people who do it. You feel scared to tell anyone because of the abuse you feel afterwards. Its okay though do what is best for you. Do not listen to others make yourself happy.

3. move on- As simple as it sounds its not easy and its pretty darn scary to do so but moving on from what happened no matter the time will be the ultimate thing to do.Write the things that hurt you the most and in the future you can see what helped you through it all.

4. use your voice- You have a voice and try and use it. tell them what you think. Tell someone whats happening. your never alone. It feels like it and it makes you feel alone but its the best thing to do and will honestly make you feel so much better.

5. strength- Use your inner strength to get through it. Think its okay you will be fine there could be worse things. You are not alone.

If you can take yourself out of the situation. Although I felt I should not of needed to do this .. I quit my job because of it and I loved it. However I did not want the constent thoughts of sadness and like I had a wasted life. I did not and nor do you. If you or anyone else is affected by bullying let them know people can help and most importantly do not fear the bully because thats what they want.

I know I can not really help but these are my views. I love you all so much,
stay safe ,

First car help | soapso

Hi,
So you may of passed your theory or passed your driving test or doing the good old look for help thing. Here is another one of my 5 tips but this time its for your first car. You may be lucky enough to have your parents buy your car but heres some tips and help from a driver of a year and a half... I know its not long ago I passed although it feels like forever and since then I have done at least 10,000 miles between my old car and my beautiful new car.

1. Cheap is not always brilliant- As anything if you buy cheap you can get cheap. Often enough you see a car that is a grand and think wow not that bad... you need to take these things into concideration.
age- The car can have age wear and tear which could cost you more than you expected.
insurance- if its a popular car it may be a high price on insurances.
safety- Check whether its had any upgrades.. I mean think does a ford have truck tyres when you first buy it or are the windows meant to be that dark.
has it been stolen?- you can make checks online and yes it costs a bit but if your serious its better to check then buy a stolen or written off car . I assure you it is.

2. where is it from?- Whether its a garage or someone selling it from home it can have faults. I bought my first car from a man who didnt need the car anymore and he seemed genuine enough however do not trust every single person... not everyone has a good heart. If you feel theres something not right do not even think of purchasing. When I was looking for my second car I looked at a car which looked decent  but it did not feel right the whole scenario like the man had left it in a pub car park and kept phoning to make sure we would be dead on 5:30 when it was only 4 on the third time of asking and when we got there no one was there and the car looked edited. Think I got lucky by walking away. My second car came from a garage and yes it cost alot more than probably someone at their house but it was secure and felt nice to do.

3. Insurance- Check the insurance before purchase and check once bought. Buy the car and insure it.

HINT: DO NOT GET A BLACK BOX
It does not help with your overall spending and is a con! I ended up spending 1,500 because they took my estimated 5,000 miles as a mark and said for every 1,000 miles I went over I had to spend £75. plus one time when I was in iceland they claimed I drove badly yet Noone had used my car so I feel its a scam. Its better not to have one. Also they charge £170 to remove a black box from a car.

When going for insurance companys go for a well known and easy to contact company. This year I am with LV who are fantastic and I highly recommend them!

4. you- Make sure you have enough money for the car, repairs and any other bits. Also the tax - My second car because its stop start its thirty pounds tax !! also I have heard if you buy a newer car your insurance is cheaper so look around.

5. Dont go with trends- Do not just go with the trend of a fiat 500 or a cute girly car or a boy racer car. Find something different and nice for you. My first car called olly named after the years and years front man was fantastic and the best little car. He was 13 years old and had 2 owners from new who had looked after him so so so well and that car sadly I parted with but for me a 1000 cc car is perfect for a first time driver costing £40.00 max to fill up. Plus its a little engine so insurance will like it more.

overall you learn as you drive but heres a few tips for more just comment.

love you all,

sale tips

my top sale tips are to think, see and plan

think- will you wear? need it? is it really a bargain and does it really suit you. will you wear that jumper in 2017 or is it an impulse buy?

see- see whether you can get it cheaper else where and think can you afford it?

finally make a plan off use and if you need that sale item.

tuesday talks-- blog advice!

thought this may help a few of you lot at home who are worried or not sure whether you are doing it all right in terms of blogging.. well for a fact there is no way of doing it wrong. Heres 5 tips on blogging.

1. passion- In order to get views and feel happy with your blogs you must have a passion for each one and spend some TIME on each one. Talk about the stuff you love and hate and make it sound like you do not a really boring paragraph which makes us all just think I wasted 2 minutes of my life.

2.Time- Spend time on each one. PLAN what your gonna write about and think is it write to blog about that. Ask for friends advice if your not sure. I give myself 15 minutes per blog to type it up and 5 minutes to take pictures of things.

3. Plan- plan in adavnce and do a scheduled blog it  means you can do something on a day without forgetting or panicking of what to blog- we all get a writers block sometimes.

4. Audience- Get to know your audience by offering them advice and they will often help you back.

and finally 5. Social media- Use twitter to suggest to people that you have a blog and they could take a look it will help you build more of an AUDIENCE and help you learn whats good posts and bad posts.

soooo I hope this helps,

Mirrors

Mirrors are great at increasing light. They are also great when you need to look fab when going out.

I have 3 mirrors in my home. All are upstairs so now I am thinking of it it may make me look vain lol. The first is on the landing and is a beautiful mirror. looks old but is a debenhams mirror I bought from a friend for eight pounds?!? It adds character and looks very beautiful all on its own.

My second one is on my wardrobe. The wardrobe I bought was from a company on ebay who deliver and set it up and this mirror is perfect to check your whole body in :)

The last but not least is my tiny heart bathroom irror from wilkinsons for £10 its a little feature in my tiny-ish bathroom and is brilliant for when you want to quickly check your face out.

Overall all these mirrors make my room look bigger and brighter and even having one would help.
so whats your favourite?

How to brighten rooms

Hi ya,
So when your brightening a room you assume paint. nop you do not need to do thta although soft pastel blues and whites do help.

My few tips are windows, clean them regularly and open the curtains (sounds simple yet its affective)

curtains- Buy bright curtains which give the room a nice vibe.

carpet- choose a lighter carpet it will look amazing and make the room look bigger.

furniture- Have a wardrobe and furniture with a certain style it will make it all look bigger and really will make you feel at home.

smell- spray a really nice fruity or flowery smell to make you feel more awake and love your room or house more.

These are just a few easy tips but honestly they go a long way.

food and little tips

sooooooo we all need food and when it comes too food it can become expensive.

I am gonna teach you hpow to save your litttle pennies.
1. Do not be fussy- yes that can of sweetcorn is reduced but its 9p and could be used tonight with chicken. Thats the way to look at things.Yes  some food I agree look bad but that at the end of the day is cheaper than that take away that cost alot of money.

2.plan- Plan your week out and figure out the days your actually at home and who with.In the long you will save and you can divide things such as tinned veg up and put in the fridge for tommorow.

3.BUY THE REDUCED ITEM- I was a tad annoyed the other day as a rude women said who buys reduced why do you want that? well miss rude women if you buy a cheap loaf of bread you can freeze it and its going to last longer in the long run.

4.Buy basics, smart price and value products- buy the supermarkets own products as it saves you money and there is no difference in taste often enough.

5. Discounts- Look online for discounts and look on topcashback if you order online. Over the year you will save loads so you can get that takeaway without a worry :p

lots of love and I hope this helps,

Home storage ideas with soapso

Hey soapies I am back from a little trip away and a nightshift... thought Id do this little blog now.
we all need storage ideas so here are my house ones :)

In the kitchen, I store all my tins and crisps in a plastic tub not only is it easier to find that can of corn in the cupboard but its easier to also keep those lovely crisps fresh and looking great. My tubs are a set I believe from morrisons.

How to store cleaning products- You can put them under the sink I do plus I have a cleaning tub which was £15 from matalan. you can also hide things behind your sofa. when I do my living room tour I will explain.

Shoes- You can store things in a ottomen bed orrrr you can have a little basket or box at the bottom of the stairs. its cheapeer and looks less cluttered than  a shoe rack and mine was only £6 without discounts.

storing wires- have a pretty little box mine is a butterfly box which came in a nest of three from minehead in a shop called store twenty one theres a few around of those shops and you should take a look. The one in chard in somerset is more for clothes the last time I went there about 2 years ago.

Wardrobe- Have most of your stuff hanged and place all out of season clothing in a box somewhere.
Also the best purchase is a sock and underwear draw divider. you can purchase one from ikea and trust me it will make everything look better :)

A desk - perfect multi use you can also shove little bits and bobs in the draws. The same applies to a jewellery box.

In the bathroom- I store towels in the same type of boxes as the shoes and it works well for me. I also have a bathroom rack which keeps everything on it... trust me pretty much any item from the bathroom lives on it. It was a bit steep at £35 from matalan but its a lovely bathroom edition. My washing is stored in a £15 white wood effect washing box. I do not really reccomened it though as it was from b&m and the colour fades a little and bits break off and I have only had it 2 or 3 months :/.

okay so for now thats it.Have a lovely day and I hope the weather is good,

lots of love

My beautiful bed

Is it approved by you? :)

So as you can see from above this is my comfy snuggly bed!!

The bed frame is from st margarets hospice and is a open up bed- ottomen I mean. which means no boxes on the floor yeyyyy! it cost £110 and can be bought from a variety of places and takes a max of 2 hours to set up.
The mattress became a massive annoyance however after argos delivered me the wrong sized mattress I got a double for £90!
The bedding is perfect and happens to match my desk jewellery draws. Its from morrisons and was £12- thanks to dbg inked for buying it for me! your the best!
the pillows are from matalan along with the blue fitted sheet. The blanket is from sainsburys along with the purple pillow cover and the memory foam pillow. hope you all like lots of love,

what makes my home a home

How are you?
I thought I would do a nice short and sweet blog on my cushions that look a little bit more well... like my home haha.

If you come to mine you will find 3 cushions scattered. my favourite is my gold glittery cushion by the the youtuber velvet ghost. unlike most sequin ones it actually adds a beautiful affect to the rest of the room and is not itchy! what a win win. I bought from primark for £8 so if you purchase this from ebay pleasssseee dont spend much more as some people are charging too much.

My tiny little heart cushion was £3 from primark. They now sell it in other cushion colours and trust me its adorable!

my final one was £8 without my discount from matalan. They have other animals on them but unfortunately they had all sold out- insert extreme sad face right about here. This makes my home more cottage like and more rustic.

tell me whether you feel this makes your home a little bit like your own or your room, apartment etc and tell me below. speak soon,

3.Iron- yep you cant have an ironing board without the iron. my iron was £4 from sainsburys. their basics section is brilliant for a cheap little household item.

4. Dustpan and brush- mine has good bristles and was purchased for £1.99 from b&m

Today I am showing you three of my comfy type clothes. First is my striped jacket which you can wear around the house or out. perfect for a date night and was £15 from matalan last year. the next is a lovely top which I call my sandy from grease top as its much like her top. This is a great summer essential and I picked it up from a lady at a car boot with a huge bundle. tip go towards the end of a car boot and if you see lots of bargains say something like a fiver for this much and any seller who wants to sell all their bargains will usually say yes. finally is my new look jeans I bought in burnham on sea and I hated for two years but now they are my comfy at home jeans.. I still do not like the ends of them though. so there you go my quick little update. love soap xoxox

A new youtube video on my channel will be uploaded tomorrow-Its on my channel soapso
I am so happy with it and I hope you like it comment on what you like and dislike :)
the desk was an upcycled desk that i painted using silk paint but I recommend the annie sloan chalk paint as it will give a better feel to the desk plus will last longer but you will need to wax the desk before in order to have a proper layer of paint on it.
the little draws was hand made and is my favourite item in my whole house- even more than my wardrobe which shows how much it means to me !!
the roses garland is from a shop in wellington somerset although its by sass and belle which I have to say is my favourite company for cute little bits and bobs.
the gorgeous FAKE flowers- I known they look better than fake was from sainsburys recently it was an expensive little item at £15 but is a little treat and works lovely whereever I put it. The lamp is from argos although I got it free and that my soapies is all about my desk for now,

Job Interview Advice

SOOOO HEY SOAPIES,
Thought I would do a quick blog and DBGinked said he would love a little blog on job interviews.

Heres my 5 steps to doing well....

1) Approach- When going to an interview you need to look and seem approachable. So prepare what your going to wear in advance, look smart, remember spray yourself as we all sweat in streesful or nervous situations. Wear comfortable shoes as you may need to walk around the premises.

2) Plan- When asked questions slow down and think of suitable answers. If unsure pause and think of a way round the question and answer what you feel is correct. Practice at home before the interview.

3)Rest- Either with excitement or fear its going to be hard to sleep so remember to rest in otherways. try and have a bath, cup of tea and eat a big meal. try and take naps at least as being tired is not a good approach.

4) knowledge- Know what you applied for, go online and research the company. impress the interviewer with knowledge like " I can improve on your 25 million pound business by..." it sounds like you want the job and researched it. Its more impressive than saying "umm... I could help by... hmm". Which links also back to plan, By stating something that relates to the business it gives you more time to think.

5) learn- the main thing is to learn what went well and what went a little bad and learn for next time. Everyone has different ways of approaching scenarios. For now , Good luck !

Make up desk ideas

Hey everyone , so lately I have been asked how did you have such a cute little make up desk . The answer is it wasn't easy ! For the those who have not seen go on my YouTube channel soapso and you will find a small little video on it .
The desk -
Finding a make up area is often challenging and expensive ! People often buy make up drawers from ikea and I do agree they are lovely but honestly for not much you can have a little desk of your own . My desk was my grandmothers . When she past away it was nearly chucked away and forgotten but I saw it as a little opportunity. My sister used to paint furniture and I got the idea to paint it . So I did using my mums silk paint . In all it cost very little and is a little treasure in any home . For anyone else I would recommend car boots and auctions for finding a little treasure of your own .

Good luck on making your own stamp ,
For now bye , love soapso xxxxx

My favourite fragrances August 2016

Hey all ,
So today has been a busy busy day where I did a car boot of which I'll put a little blogaty blog on at some point . Anyway as a inner girly girl I thought I'd share my favourite fragrances and fragrances I just love to have .

So here I am rummaging through my basket I first pick up my .. Charli red body fragrance . This little treasure I have had for a while . It's a good little spray if you want it to last with you all day often on offer the Charli collection is a quality buy however this one does have the problem if you spray to much you smell to much like a flower garden if you know what I mean . On the back it says for your daring side and I know why .. It's very over powering .

Next is my impulse true love which I got as a Christmas present . It's strong but perfect for protection from sweat on a first date . It says on the back it will "inspire romance "... Put it this way if you spray too much you will defo have a Romeo on your hands !

Charli enchant has now appeared in my hand . I call this my period spray which the other half thinks is weird but as a teen whenever I was on I used this fragrance. So naturally it reminds me of my younger self . This is very strong and therefore if it's a humid day it will mask any unwanted smells .

Now another Charli fragrance (if you have not noticed I used to have a thing for them when they were on offer for a £1 in morrisons ) Charli divine which was a limited edition little gem . Smelling of raspberrys and plums you will be smelling likes sweets and honestly it makes me always feel really fresh so if it's still around I would definitely recommend you look at it :)

Finally I found another different type lol - my hollister seacliff beach - this body mist lasts at least a year for me and costs £12 yet honestly worth every penny ! When I wear it I get asked what it is and I am like hollister instantly everyone is like that's too much but when you work it out that's a pound a month that you probably would spend on something you won't remember next year .

Back to another Charli next ups Charli star . It's a very lively spray which is perfect for the movies or for going out for the night as after one spray you won't smell anything then suddenly you smell all these different fragrances in a fragrance ( if that makes sense lol) . It's a little Beauty that I need to probably wear more .

My most used Charli spray is spirit purely because I think the spray is not too shocking yet gives me protection from everyday sweat . I'm not saying it will work all the time but it was definitely worth the pound I paid once for it.

If you need a little spray for your bag id recommend the nspa fresh sweet raspberry body mist . It did come in a set but it's little and will definetely spice up an outfit !

Soooooo I'm down to my last 3 ( well the last 3 I can see ) this is my top 3
At 3 is my Charli why not by Charli xcx - yes I love Charli xcx she is honestly my favourite female artist . Her creative flare is definitely brought out by this smell and all I can say is try it and you will like it .. I'm not gonna lie DBG inked has even tried it and he liked it .. So it's man approved 😂
At 2- is my zoella blissful mistful- I thought it was expensive at £8 originally but nearly 2 years on and it's still going . I use this for special little events and it was even used for both my major job interviews ( ps I got the jobs ) ... So maybe this did the magic at the interviews ;)

Drum roll... At number 1 ..... Is ...
        MARC JACOBS DAISY
I still think it's over priced but I got this as a Christmas present and it's my go too . I love it to bits and honestly am so glad I had it . Once you try it you have to buy it ... Save up if you can and get the refillable set and always look elsewhere first as not all places are cheap for this fragrance .
Anyway for now good night all ,
Lots of love

Iceland adventures

Iceland has recently been stated a lot - Kim k has been and since the World Cup. Me and DBGinked from double barrel gaming went there in February and this is some little help and advice bits for you lovely lot .
Animals - do not expect tons of animals coming from rocks etc . When we were there we saw some wild ponies and a random dog walking by itself 😂 You may see more . It's more about taking in the scenery then animals .

As I mentioned the scenery is amazing and if you can go and see the golden circle it's the most amazing time ever . Remember wear suitable shoes ... My £30 walking boots from mountain warehouse were better than Georges £130 boots from go outdoors despite a man recommending it . Trust me I didn't nearly fall over at all compared to other people ... Yes it can be a bit icy in places .

This brings me to clothing . Don't spend tons like I did 😁 All you need is a thick coat ( mine was £30 one from mountain warehouse ) a jumper and I would say 3 long sleeve tops . Also some gloves and a hat that are thick and some ski trousers . That is all you need it's not that cold there it's like an English windy day ... Just constantly  !

Children - children can go there and would love it . It's a great place for them to explore ... Just don't be naughty or Father Christmas won't come on the 24 days of Christmas they have there !

Dream place to be ? - lots of People say this and I think it is but as I heard from all the people who speak excellent English and are from Iceland they wish they could go away a lot as it's always snowy there . The people themselves are so friendly which means you have to be very nice to them and honestly say thank you for everything they appreciate it a lot.

There's so much to do there and so much to see for pics find me on YouTube at soapso and look at my pictures .

If you go there good luck and enjoy it :) ,
Love soapso

Hamsters - are they right for you?

Hamsters - sure enough pretty much all my friends have had or got a hamster . So I assumed they were easy to keep and great first pets. They are but I am gonna help you decide whether to get some or not.

Are they easy to keep ?-
When I got mine I was shocked .. Did you know there is loads of species ? For instance Syrian hamsters can not live together or they will kill each other ?!? After talking to two seperate pet shop people I decided to have the robo species . They are small and by far the most adorable type - I know I am biased. These hamsters are very lively though and I would not recommend you have them if you have kids because they jump ! They jump like their sky diving and honestly sometimes it terrifies me . Also they do like to be awake from 6pm till 8 am or till sometimes till 2pm ( they like their raves on their wheel ) . This may bother some people but if you keep them somewhere you can't hear them they are not that load . Mine stay in the dinning room area .

Where can I buy ?-
All good pet shops should have hamsters and if your unsure on what to have for them ask them . That's what they are there for. However I'd recommend from past problems don't buy a dosile animal ... You are basically buying a dead animal. Make sure you have a cage - mine was £30 . I wouldn't get a complete metal one as their feet can get stuck ( you do not want a sad little hamster) so get a plastic lidded one . Also a wheel is necessary . Some bedding .. Bedding types is upto you but be careful because even though the bedding says OFFER £2.00 on it it does not mean it's good for their health as some make them poorly . Bottles for water and a bowl for food and a hide is all needed plus add some comfy features for them like tissue pads ( don't know the name ) to help them burrow and a simple boredom breaker a toilet roll piece of cardboard .

Are they expensive ?-
No .okay the outlay for a proper nice cage and area for them may cost you £50 but it's cheaper than a dog . They will live less unfortunately but they make good pets and are perfect to look after . Plus unlike dogs you can put them in an exercise ball and they can exercise themselves . I feel it depends on what you want for them but for me they are perfect little companions .

If you have any please comment . Hope you like this post lots of love ,

Monday 1 August - excitement !

Hey all you lovely soapies ... So I have blogger thanks to my lovely friend who reccommended it . So I wanted to say thank you to everyone who follows my Twitter @soapsoo and my YouTube channel - soapso . It's sooooooooo lovely to have all these compliments and nice things said .

Over the last few months ALOT has happened ... Understatement everything you could not and would not believe has happened whether it's from my fish dying due to eating its own kids ( I know it's not normal ... Well I've never heard of it ) to me quiting my job due to bullying but between you and me I told everyone it was to have a break from working to much ... Don't worry I do still work just not at my other job .

Also along the way I have moved house which means I'll blog about house moves and how much things cost too .... I mean even stupid things like where I got my kettle ( bargain from sainsburys - £6!!!!) anyway I am here if you have any questions or wanna help me along my journey .

Lots of love ,
Soapso
